UPDATE: Wilderness First Aid Full
The Capitol Area Council's Wilderness First Aid Basics Course for March 31-April 1, 2007, has been filled. There is a waiting list, but it is already very long. There will be another course offered in the fall.

Why can't the Council have at least one more Wilderness First Aid this Spring? We've been on the waiting list for two sessions now. The only email we received is the one that states the class is full. You know that Troops going to Philmont will find this useful, yet there is only one spring class, and only open to select few, those that have inside connections already. Let's get real and have two or three between january & May of each year & then one in the Fall. Let's sned these Troops, & their leaders out their prepared. Sure they do knot need to have it but it's helpful, otherwise the Council wouldn't have it to begin with. So please schedule more of these classes. Perhaps have a limit on the numbher of participants from each Troop can attend. If they send two to one, they shouldn't be allowed into the next session etc. Have room for the smaller Troops without all the connections. Thanks, Buh Bye!
